Holiday Break Camps | Ages 7 to 12

Our holiday break camps are very popular!  Although we have a lot of fun in camp, instruction is presented in a structured manner.  Kids are grouped by age and ability.  The instruction is the same as if we were teaching high school kids, but again - FUN!  If you are looking for great value, a lot of instruction and tips, then sign up for this camp!

Camp Content

Pitching/Throwing
 - pitching mechanics and terminology
 - pitching and throwing drills
 - velocity enhancement drills
 - arm care and health
 - pitch development
 - long toss program

Hitting
 - swing mechanics and terminology
 - bat speed enhancement drills
 - increase contact and power
 - mental approach to hitting
 - drills that work, take home
 - live hitting, front toss, t work

Fielding
 - fielding mechanics and terminology
 - proper set-up, approach
 - deflecting and transfers
 - tagging and rundowns
 - includes outfield work
 - throwing drills, combo drills

Catching
 - proper receiving, sway to the pitch
 - transfers, and throwing made easy
 - stances, sign giving, and movement to the ball 
 - the simple way to block the dirt ball
 - tagging runners out at home
 - pitcher catcher relationships

Attire: Athletic attire is expected - shorts or baseball pants, tennis shoes only - no cleats or high studded shoes, and wear a baseball cap.  Please bring a warm garment in case we go outside.  

 

Safety:  Please bring lots of water.  Sun screen is recommended in the event we go outside.  A helmet is required.

Lunch: Please send your child with a lunch - water only.  We will take a 20 minute lunch and have a couple 5 minute water breaks.
