Why do you work so hard to develop your defensive skills, but NEVER work to develop your arm?

Some of you might be saying, “Well, I long toss and lift weights coach”.
- First of all, weight lifting has nothing to do with adding velocity, staying elastic, creating torque, arm action, or arm efficiency.
- Secondly, long tossing is only effective if it includes arm action development, correct throwing sequence, velocity enhancement, and extensive arm care.
Most long tossing consists of just going out and throwing at a specific distance and increasing the distance from week to week.
This holds very little value compared to our advanced throwing program.

The throwing program here at WBI emphasizes a more athletic approach to throwing. Correct throwing sequence or mechanics, arm action development, velocity training, and an extensive arm care curriculum are some of the areas covered at WBI. This combined with our Reverse Training techniques results in a healthier and more efficient arm. Athletes will inherently see a dramatic spike in velocity as well. Here at WBI we are setting the standards for developing great arms in the Northwest.
Our Throwing Program is ongoing and year round.
There are no set start dates so you can begin a new session at any time.
You create your own six week session once you register online.
