Coach Gaw  is currently a private pitching and hitting instructor throughout Western Washington.  Her credentials speak volume having coached at the University of Washington from 2005 to 2008 and at Florida State University from 2003 to 2004, both as the pitching coach.

While coaching for the Dawgs in 2007, Eve coached one of the best pitching duos in UW history - Danielle Lawrie and Caitlin Noble.  The two posted a school record for 615 strikeouts and held their opponents to a .188 batting average.  In 2004 for the Seminoles, Eve’s pitching staff had the nation’s best ERA, fourth best in 2003.  She also coached the first player to ever win the Honda Softball Award and the USA Softball National Player of the Year, Jessica Van der Linden.

Eve will oversee the softball pitching curriculum at WBI and will run several softball camps throughout the year.  In addition, she will participate in the overall development in our Softball Hitting Program.  Coach Gaw will also provide private pitching and hitting instruction.

Coach Knutson is currently the Pitching Coach at Arizona State University. He served as the Head Coach at the University of Washington for 17 years. Ken holds the mark for most wins in any sport at the University of Washington with 589 wins. Ken has developed and coached over 100 professional players including Tim Lincecum, the 2008 and 2009 NL CY Young Award Winner.

Coach Knutson is Coach Watson's most influential mentor and will help guide the pitching curriculum at Washington Baseball Instruction while acting as Manager, Advisor, and Owner.

Coach Watson is the former Pitching Coach for the 2008 NWAACC Champions, Edmonds Community College.  Scott has coached high school and college baseball for 14 years.  In 2003 he launched Wave Baseball.  He is currently the lead instructor for the organization and the head coach for the 18u Connie Mack team.  Scott played his college ball at Maryville College in Tennessee.

Coach Watson will play a major role at Washington Baseball Instruction. He will work closely with Coach Knutson at Arizona State and serve as the Pitching & Hitting Director, Facility Manager, and Owner.  Scott will also perform private pitching & hitting instruction.

Amanda Fleischman played for the University of Washington from 2007 to 2010 while winning a National Championship in 2009 and a Pac-10 title in 2010.  She received All Pac-10 honors in 2008 and 2010.  Amanda has a lot of experience having played in the College World Series 3 out of 4 years for the Dawgs.  She currently has bragging rights as the only softball player in UW history to have played every position, except pitcher.

Amanda is currently finishing her last year of studies at the UW and currently plays professional softball for the US ALL-Stars based out of Maryland.   She is a switch hitter and a slapper with great athleticism. Amanda will assist in our WBI softball curriculum while running softball camps and private instruction.

Coach Hennum   is a dedicated educator and is currently a 9th grade teacher in the Shoreline School District.  Troy has an extensive background in sports as a player and a coach.  After high school Troy pursued his dream of being a school teacher and a coach by attending the University of Washington.  He began his career as a student assistant for the Huksies football program under Tyron Willingham.  He worked with such players as Jake Locker and Tim Lappano, currently an assistant coach for Detroit Lions.  Troy has also had coaching stints at Meadowdale High School as the Quarterbacks Coach and as the Pitching Coach at Mountlake Terrace High School for the past couple years.  He is currently the Head Coach for Lake Washington High School Softball and Wave Softball.

Coach Hennum will be responsible for running some of our conditioning programs and will assist in the Athletic Pitching/Throwing Program.  He will also perform private conditioning instruction and year round conditioning camps.
